Where is Colorado?

Colorado is located in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States and is bordered on the south by Oklahoma and New Mexico, on the east by Nebraska and Kansas, and on the north by Nebraska and Wyoming. Colorado is the eighth largest and 22nd most populated U.S. state.

The headwaters of six major rivers are located in the mountains of Colorado, including the Republican, Arkansas, South Platte, North Platte and Rio Grande Rivers. Easily recognized by its rectangular shape on the map, Colorado is home to the highest point in the Rocky Mountain range, Mount Ebert, which features an elevation of 14,439.
