What did Hitler promise the Germans?
By Forinfos - 03/03/2025 - 0 comments
Hitler promised to overturn the Treaty of Versailles but also to stop reparations and bring pride back to the German people, specifically the middle and lower classes. He was essentially preying on their needs and fears.
Hitler's idea of strong government ushered in a feeling of stability to the German citizens who were afraid of Communism. The turmoil and aftermath of the Stock Market Crash had even prompted big business to contribute funds to help the Nazi party. Germany was in a state of collapse at the time, and Hitler's ideas deflected the responsibility to Jew people and promoted a new future for Germany.
