What is Pardus?

Pardus is a browser-based Massive Multiplayer Online Browser Game set in a technologically advanced universe with various characters on the pursuit for resources and fame in space. Players control characters that travel through solar systems and build wealth by extracting, trading, building and battling other players and non-player characters.

Pardus was developed and published by Austrian company Bayer & Szell OG. It was written in PHP and C/C++. Pardus was released on September 14, 2004, and by October 1, 2006, the core feature set was finished. The game is free to play, but paid premium accounts give users access to unique features that include extra playable universes and better usability.
