How do bed bugs travel?
By Forinfos - 22/05/2026 - 0 comments
Bed bugs travel by hitching rides in people’s clothing, pet fur and other materials. The bugs do not attach themselves directly to people’s skin, but they can cling to clothing and other soft materials for travel. A bed bug can quickly and easily travel up to 100 feet.
Bed bugs tend to stay in close proximity to areas where people sleep, such as beds. Before leaving an area that is infested with bed bugs, people should launder all washable materials. The items should then be placed in plastic bags to suffocate and kill any bed bugs that survived washing and drying.
