Serena Williams has posed in swimsuits in several magazines as the featured model on covers and inside pages. She appeared on the July 2013 cover of Essence magazine in a blue ombre one-piece suit and in the May 2014 issue of Fitness magazine wearing a copper colored cut-out one-piece suit.

Serena Williams appeared in the 2003 and 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions wearing an all-white bikini with a coordinating cover-up and a black mesh one-piece suit, respectively. Serena Williams posed in swimsuits for the cover of Ebony, Tennis and Rolling Out magazines. In New York Magazine's August 2015 issue, the tennis star is seen wearing a black bodysuit.
