Oquendo went missing on Oct. 4, 2013 when he left the school he was attending. The autistic teen was seen on surveillance video unmonitored in the moments before he walked out of the school. By the time that his teacher and other school officials alerted the assistant principal that he was missing, 18 minutes had passed.
