Who is the leader of Japan?

The executive branch of Japan's government is the Cabinet. It is led by the Prime Minister and contains 17 or fewer Ministers of State. The "National Diet," Japan's legislative branch, consists of the House of Representatives, which has 480 members, and the House of Councilors, which has 242 members. The Diet is responsible for making laws and electing the Prime Minister, who must be one of its members. Japan's judiciary system is made up of the Supreme Court and lesser courts. What is "SSI" under the Social Security Administration?

Recipients of SSI must be legal residents of the United States or qualified non-citizens. SSI funding comes from personal and corporate taxes rather than Social Security taxes paid during employment. A qualifying disability, blindness or age combined with financial need and limited resources help determine eligibility. The exception is that families with disabled or blind children under age 18 do not have to prove financial need. SSI recipients may also qualify for Medicaid and food assistance in some states.
