When did the first color TV come out?

It took a few additional years after their initial release for color TVs to become a mainstream product. The FCC approved RCA color televisions toward the end of 1953, marking the start of major color TV sales in the United States. Sales of color televisions slowly overtook those of black-and-white sets. By the mid-1970s, more color televisions were being purchased than black-and-white TVs. By the 1980s, black-and-white television sales began to dry up for good.

The 13 colonies declared themselves independent in 1776 and were named the United States of America. The Revolutionary War started in April of 1775 and went on through to April of 1783 with the U.S. securing its freedom and ending the first British Empire. The major financiers of the revolutionaries were France, the Dutch republic and Spain. It is because of their involvement that Britain eventually declared war on the three countries.

Prussia was the only state in Germany that was industrialized to be reckoned with Europe. As the Prussian Chancellor, Bismarck's main goal was to unify the whole of Germany under the Prussian control. He attacked Denmark to claim the territories of Schleswig-Holstein. Two years later, Bismarck provoked Austria emperor, Franz-Josef I, into a war in 1866. Later, he stirred tensions between Prussia and France by editing a telegram from William I, which resulted to annexation of Lorraine and Alsace by Prussia.
