One of the biggest factors that contributed to the location of the start of the Industrial Revolution started was coal. Britain had a vast supply of coal, which was essential for early machines to operate. Britain was also one of the most powerful areas of the world and possessed a stable society. They had a large number of colonies that could provide Britain with the raw materials necessary to begin manufacturing. As demand for goods increased, British merchants began seeking ways to achieve more cost-effective production, which led to a rise in mechanization and eventually industrialization.

When did the Bataan Death March end?

The Bataan Death March began when Japanese invaded the Philippines, shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. An army of Filipino and American soldiers retreated to the Bataan Peninsula. After approximately four months, U.S. General Edward King Jr. surrendered the 75,000 troops.\nThe Japanese forced the soldiers to march 65 miles from the Bataan Peninsula to San Fernando.
