How do you determine the number of days between two dates?

TimeAndDate.com provides an online date duration calculator. To navigate to this calculator, go to TimeAndDate.com, hover your mouse over the Calculator tab located at the top right, and then click the Date to Date Calculator selection in the drop-down menu. To use the calculator, input a start date and an end date, and click the green Calculate Duration button. Alternatively, you can also enter a start and end date by selecting them from the provided drop-down calendar.\nThe TimeAndDate.com calculator also includes options to only count work days or to add time fields and time zone conversion..

How are percentages calculated?

"Percent" comes from the latin word for "out of (per) 100". If there were 100 of some item, and a person removed 10 items, that person would have taken 10% of the items - they would have taken 10/100. For items which do not equal exactly 100, they can be compared to it. Take for instance a group of four people, in which three are female and one is male. 3/4 people are female, and 1/4 people are male. By multiplying 4 (the denominator) by 25, we get 100. Afterwards, 3 and 1 can be multiplied by 25 to give 75 and 25; these are the percentages of men and women in the example.

How many millions equal one billion?

Sometimes, the British press uses "one thousand million" as an alternative way to indicate one billion. This alternative term is helpful to speakers of other languages, such as Spanish, for whom the term "billion" actually refers to one million million, not one thousand million. "Milliard" is also a British term for one thousand million, although it has been gradually phased out among the British scientific community.\nIn the United States, one billion is the general standard for representing one thousand million.

What is sine squared plus cosine squared?

For example, the sine of a 30-degree angle is 1/2 and the cosine of a 30-degree angle is the square root of 3/2. One-half squared is equal to 1/4, and the square of the square root of 3/2 is equal to 3/4. When added together, 1/4 plus 3/4 equals 1.

How can the mean, range and mode be found on a bar graph?

A bar graph is a useful way to graph the quantity across a range of a variable. Mode, mean and range are all common ways to describe a set of data. When data is presented in a graph, the mode and range can be determined directly. The mean must be calculated by reverse engineering the data from the graph.

What is the circumference of a golf ball?

Prior to 1990, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of Saint Andrews allowed a smaller ball in British tournament play. While weighing the same as the American ball, the British ball was only 1.62 inches in diameter or 5.09 inches in circumference. The smaller size meant less drag and made for longer drives and less interference from the wind. In 1974, the R and A outlawed the smaller ball for British Open Tournaments, and in 1990 it adopted 1.68 inches in diameter as its standard minimum size.

What is a trapezoidal prism?

The volume of a trapezoidal prism is computed by multiplying the surface area of one of the trapezoid faces by the distance between the two trapezoids. This method, multiplying the surface area of a base by the height, is the same for computing the volume of any prism. The surface area of a trapezoidal prism is computed by multiplying the surface area of one of the prisms by two and then adding the product of the perimeter of the trapezoid times the height of the figure.

Is 19 a prime number?

Out of the first 100 numbers, 25 of them are prime numbers. The opposite of a prime number is a composite number. Because all even numbers are divisible by two, the number two is the only even prime number. Similarly, no prime numbers that are higher than five end in five. One is a unique number because it is neither a prime number nor a composite number.

What is a limit solver?

A limit solver typically requires three input values: a function, the variable and its approach. For example, a limit solver can determine the limit of the function (x^2)/(x+2) as x approaches infinity, which is equal to infinity. Limit solvers may require information to be input with a specific syntax for increased accuracy. Some may use mathematical notation, while others may use a text-based form. Some limit solvers can find either the left-hand or right-hand limit, or both.

How do you divide complex numbers?

Multiply by the conjugateConsider the example problem (2+3i) / (4-4i). Reverse the sign in the denominator to get the conjugate (4+4i), and multiply both numerator and denominator by (4+4i). Write the results before factoring. In this example, you get (2+3i)(4+4i)/(4-4i)(4+4i).Eliminate the parenthesesDistribute (or use the FOIL method) to get rid of the parentheses. Multiply the first terms of both expressions in the numerator by each other. Then, multiply the first term in the first expression by the last term in the second expression. Next, multiply the second term in the first expression b..
