Sometimes the forks are broken off at the handle, leaving only the pointed end sticking up and barely visible. Chicago Sun-Times columnist and prank expert Neil Steinberg claims that forking operates in the tradition of the most classic pranks – those that require minimal effort on the part of the pranksters and far more on the part of the victim.

Although it is true that cats are not referenced as pets in the Bible, neither are any other animals. The Bible does not explore pet ownership. This could quite simply be because pet ownership was not crucial to the stories being told. The sparse mention of cats in the Bible may also be because cats were sacred to the Egyptians and the Egyptians tend to be vilified in the Bible.

However, Pope Julius II had given Henry a papal dispensation to be married in the first place, so Pope Clement VII refused to contradict that dispensation and declare the marriage invalid. An enraged Henry secured his divorce from a friendly Archbishop and then moved against the entire religiou..
