The manufacturer recalled the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica due to potential failure in the fuel pump module and the power train control module software, which could cause the engine to stall out if driven under certain conditions. This malfunction could lead to accidents and crashes.

Chrysler recalled the 2006 Pacifica on Nov. 9, 2006, instructing owners to take the recalled vehicles to dealerships for repairs. The dealership reprograms the power train control module free of charge and replaces fuel pump modules manufactured between August 1 and Sept. 13, 2004. Recalls expire 10 years after the date the manufacturer discovers the malfunction.
