To access Hutchinson Island, drive to East Ocean Boulevard in Stuart, Florida and cross the two bridges that connect the island to the mainland. If driving on the Florida Turnpike, take the 133/Stuart exit, and if driving on Interstate-95, take the 101/Stuart exit to reach East Ocean Boulevard.

Hutchinson Island is a barrier island located off the Atlantic coast of Florida, near the counties of Martin and St. Lucie. The island features many beaches with free access, such as Stuart Beach and Santa Lucea Beach. Other sites include the Florida Oceanographic Society, House of Refuge and Elliot Museum. Nearby airports include Witham Field Airport, located approximately 9 miles away, and Palm Beach International Airport, located approximately 43 miles away.
