According to Drugs.com, the active ingredients in Titralac Plus antacid tablets are calcium carbonate and simethicone. The calcium carbonate is an antacid, and the simethicone eliminates gas.
In addition to the active ingredients in Titralac Plus, glycine, magnesium stearate, saccharin, spearmint oil and starch are as inactive ingredients, reports Drugs.com. Patients are directed to chew, swallow or melt in their mouth two tablets every two or three hours as symptoms occur. The tablets relieve heartburn, sour stomach, acid indigestion and common symptoms of gas. Additional benefits of Titralac Plus tablets are that they have very low sodium and aluminum content, and they are sugar free.
