How do you address a letter to multiple recipients?

For no more than three recipients at the same location, you list the names in sequence in the letter itself. For additional recipients, or recipients at different locations, create a separate letter for each person and list all recipients by "cc:" at the bottom of the letter.
- Create your letter
If writing to two persons, the opening would be "Dear Ms. X and Mr. Y,". Similarly, the names above the company address would be listed together. Each individual receives a copy with only their name on the envelope.
- Create a letter for each person
For more recipients or for several locations, each letter is addressed to only that individual. Every letter ends with the "cc:" notation.
- Inserting the carbon copy notation
At the bottom of the letter, after the signature, write "cc:" and list each person's name and company, one below another.
