Some puppies can get a parvovirus vaccination at five weeks old, depending on the vet's recommendation, according to PetEducation.com. The first combination vaccine is given as early as six weeks old and may include vaccines for distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and coronavirus.

More combination vaccines are given at nine, 12 and 16 weeks, states PetMD. A lyme vaccination is sometimes included during the puppy's 12-week visit and repeated at 14 weeks. Puppies can receive a rabies vaccination after they reach 12 weeks, and by 16 weeks, puppy vaccinations are typically finished. Adult booster vaccinations include combination vaccines and rabies, according to PetEducation.com.
