What is an air conditioner dry mode?
By Forinfos - 08/05/2025 - 0 comments
The dry mode of an air conditioner removes excess humidity from a room without providing additional cooling, states LG, a manufacturer of digital appliances. After the room temperature reaches the set level, the circulation fan and the compressor turn off, and only the exhaust fan continues to run.
The intent of the dry mode is to provide comfort by reducing humidity instead of significantly cooling a room. It doesn't, however, act as a dehumidifier. It simply removes just enough humidity to make a room more comfortable.
Other common air conditioner settings include a traditional cool mode, a fan mode, an energy or power-saver mode and a quick-cool mode.
