Am I related to my cousin's cousin?

One is only genetically related to one's cousin's cousin if there is a common ancestor shared. However, given the complexity of human relationships, it is not impossible that there might be a distant genetic relationship.

Whether one could be considered related to one's cousin's cousin from any other standpoint can depend on the laws and customs of one's particular country or region. Definitions of legal kinship are complex and have evolved over time; nonetheless, it is fairly common in the United States to give the designation "cousin" as a courtesy title to someone who is more distantly related to an individual, either by blood or by marriage, than the first two generations.
