Do anacondas have teeth?
By Forinfos - 16/08/2025 - 0 comments
Anacondas have rows of sharp, needle-like teeth. These teeth are not used for chewing food but for gripping onto prey so that an anaconda can position itself to wrap its coils around its prey and begin constricting it.
Anacondas are large snakes found in tropical regions of South America. The term anaconda can refer to any of a certain group of anacondas but most frequently refers to the common or green anaconda. Anacondas can grow up to 26 feet long and weigh up to 290 pounds. Their size enables them to take down prey the size of a small horse.
