What animal has the strongest jaws?

According to a study by the National Geographic Society, salt-water crocodiles have the strongest bite ever measured. The largest of these crocodiles produce a bite of 3,700 pounds per square inch (psi).

The force generated by the bite of a crocodile far exceeds that of other predators. Lions and tigers can generate an average force of about 1,000 psi. A human bite only measures 150 to 200 psi. All crocodiles and alligators produce a prodigious amount of force with their jaws, but they may not be the real champions. A 2008 computer model estimated that a 21-foot great white shark might be capable of generating a grip of up to 4,000 psi, but that bite has not been directly measured.
