What animals eat sharks?

Sharks are at the top of their respective food chain and are not usually hunted by other animals; however, sharks have been known to eat other sharks from time to time. There have also been a few sightings of moray eels eating small sharks.

Sharks are large fish and are carnivorous in nature. The largest shark is known as the great white shark and these sharks are considered "the largest predatory fish on Earth," according to National Geographic. They weigh up to 5,000 lbs. In 2014, CNN reported that scientists had discovered a tracker on the beach that had been attached to a great white shark that indicated that the shark had been eaten by another great white shark.
