A number of reader-created websites, such as NYTCrossword.com, contain free searchable databases of the solutions to the daily New York Times crossword puzzles. Subscribers to the New York Times can find a complete archive of its puzzles on the website.
To find a solution on NYTCrossword.com, first bring up the webpage and locate the search bar at the top of the screen. To find a solution from a specific date, type in the date in the format MMDD-YY (e.g. 0707-14 for July 7, 2014). Then click on the first result to find an image of the completed puzzle with a detailed explanation of each individual answer.
