An apartment-size gas stove is a gas-powered combination stove top and range that is small enough to fit into the limited space of an apartment's compact kitchen. The stoves are typically about 20 inches wide, around 25 inches deep and a bit more than 40 inches high.

The oven of an apartment stove has approximately 2.5 cubic feet of cooking space. Although the stove is reduced in size, it still has four burners, an oven and a broiler. While some models have a separate, lower broiler, others have a broiling system built into the oven. As with traditional appliances, the color and finish of apartment stoves vary by make and model.
