How do you apply for Arizona's Medicaid program?

Apply for Medicaid coverage in Arizona by filling out an online application or by downloading and printing an Application for Assistance from the Arizona Department for Economic Security and returning it to a local office, according to Benefits.gov. Health-e-Arizona processes applications online.

To apply online, navigate to HealthEArizonaPlus.gov, and click on the Get Started button on the home page, notes Benefits.gov. From there, click on Begin Application in the Apply for Public Programs section to apply for medical assistance. Click on Medical Assistance from AHCCS or the Tax Credit To Help Pay for Health Insurance, and then click Apply for Benefits to begin the application, or click on Screen for Benefits to see if you meet eligibility requirements prior to applying.
