How do you apply fiberglass nails?

Fiberglass nails are applied using fiberglass wrap material, nail dehydrator or rubbing alcohol, gel resin and a 4-sided nail buffer. Remove all existing nail polish and use the buffer to clear off any peeling nail. Clean the nail with rubbing alcohol or nail dehydrator, making sure no dirt is present.

Peel the backing off the fiberglass wrap and apply it as close to the edge as possible. Trim excess wrap material with scissors. Apply the gel resin in a thin coat and allow it to dry. Apply 2-3 coats of resin, being sure to wrap the tips with resin on the last coat. Buff with the 4-sided block and then apply polish as usual.
