Maureen O'Hara is an actress born on Aug. 17, 1920, in Ranelagh, Ireland. She is still alive at 94 years of age, as of May 2015.

Maureen O'Hara was born Maureen FitzSimons, to a businessman and stage actress, and exhibited a flair for theatrics at a young age. After graduating from Dublin's Abbey Theatre School, she moved to London, where she met an acclaimed movie star and producer who jumpstarted her career and suggested she change her surname to O'Hara. She was later cast alongside Hollywood leading men in a string of action films during the 1940s and shifted her career towards singing and comedy in the 1960s.
