Do all major newspapers have circulation numbers?
By Forinfos - 24/05/2026 - 0 comments
All the major newspapers have circulation numbers. The major or top-tier newspapers are commonly defined as those with circulation numbers of over 500,000. After a leap in circulation numbers of 22 percent from 2012 to 2013, the circulation figures for these major papers fell four percent the following year.
Keeping tabs of circulation data has become more complicated in recent years because of changing measures due to the way in which readers consume the news. Although many readers are shifting to digital access, most subscribers are print-edition subscribers. Digital page views on the online sites of newspapers also come in a larger part from mobile users than desktop users, a recent shift.
