How does bacteria get rid of waste?

Bacteria get rid of waste through their semi-permeable membrane by diffusion. The waste is pushed out of the organism in the form of liquid or gas. The waste released by bacteria is usually toxic and is what makes people sick.

Diffusion is the process by which molecules move in and out of the cell. Most cells have cell membranes that control what substances comes in and out of the organism. Although bacteria can release toxic waste and cause diseases in living things, they can also be used in creating medicine, helping stomach digestion and producing dairy products. Bacteria are everywhere and can live in any type of condition.
