What is Badoo?

Badoo is a social media network designed to help individuals meet new people with similar interests. The social media service launched in London in 2006 and as of 2014 has more than 149 million members worldwide.

Badoo is free to join. The site asks members to create a profile in which they can upload profile pictures, message other members, and perform other tasks common to social media sites. Badoo may be accessed online or through the Android, iPhone and Windows apps available for download. Badoo can also be linked to a Facebook account. The service helps users locate other nearby Badoo members who share similar interests.
