What is a BBA degree?

A BBA is a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In a typical BBA program, students complete two years of general education classes followed by two years of more business-specific classes in areas such as finance, accounting, management, entrepreneurship and supply chain management.

A BBA is a broad business degree that can lead to various career options. Some BBA graduates start their careers in small businesses or go into business leadership roles, while others work in areas such as advertising, human resources, accounting and finance. A BBA is also a common precursor to a Master of Business Administration degree. Some colleges offer fast-track programs that lead to both degrees being conferred.
