Can an Apple iWatch be purchased?

As of February 2015, the Apple Watch is not available for purchase. It is scheduled for general release in the United States in April, 2015. The device is slated to be available for sale under the name Apple Watch, a change from the prototype title of iWatch.

Thirty-four different styles of the Apple Watch are scheduled to be released simultaneously in April, each at an estimated price of $349. The Apple Watch comes in three distinct editions, including a number of variants on band style, watch face and color. The watches run on iOS 8.2, which allows them to be synced with other Apple devices, such as the iPhone 6.
