Can a stacked haircut be any length?

A stacked hair cut is usually an ear-length bob. However, stacked hair cuts can range from shorter bobs to hair cuts just below the shoulders.

A stacked haircut is comprised of layers. It is, however, confined to either bobs that are shorter than shoulder length or thinned, longer hair.

However, a stacked haircut has one advantage. The cut can be flat-ironed or curled and still look as if nothing has been done to it to mess it up. The stacking also creates the effect of livening up a longer bob, which allows for longer, stacked looks rather than a simple ear-length bob.
