Is there any henna hair dye that covers gray hair?

Pure henna hair dye can cover grey hairs safely without causing damage. Henna is derived from the Lawsonia plant, contains no chemicals and is a mild colorant for all hair types.

Pure henna tints the hair a reddish-brown color. Herbs such as chamomile, indigo, cassia or amla help achieve different shades varying from dark auburn to black.

To make a henna paste, combine 1 cup of henna powder with 1 cup of orange juice in a bowl. Cover the bowl securely with plastic wrap and allow the mixture to steep overnight. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of purified water and set aside for 12 to 24 hours before applying the paste to hair.
