How do you shrink a hat?

To shrink a hat, heat a pan of hot water, submerge the hat in the water, and place it in the dryer to dry. The heat from the water and dryer shrinks the material on the hat.

1. Heat a pan of hot water

   Fill a pan with enough water to completely submerge the hat. Heat the water on the stove until it is boiling.

2. Submerge the hat in hot water

   Turn down the heat on the stove, and completely submerge the hat in the hot water for 30 minutes.

3. Dry the hat in the dryer

   Put your hat in the dryer. Set the dryer on high, and dry the hat for half an hour.
