One can become a certified Pokemon professor by studying for and passing an online exam. Now that's a lot easier than dodging an Aeroblast!

Pokemon professors act as judges and organizers of Pokemon League events and tournaments. To become a Pokemon professor, you must first fill out an application and then take a certification exam online, choosing your area of expertise as Organizer, Trading Card Game Judge or Video Game Judge. Once the exam is completed and approved, you are a Pokemon professor! To keep your certification you must volunteer for a minimum number of events per year.
