What beer comes in a green bottle?

There are several brands of beer available in green bottles. Heineken and Beck's are two popular brands that bottle their beer in green bottles. Heineken beer has been around since 1975, while Beck's was founded in 1873 and is the world's best-selling German lager.

All beer bottles allow in some degree of light, although brown glass lets in less than clear or green. When a certain amount of ultraviolet light hits certain molecules in beer, it spoils the beer, and causes it to smell and taste bad. This is why bottles of beer are often packaged in cardboard containers that light cannot penetrate.
