What is a Benelli Nova?

The Nova Pump is a field shotgun manufactured by Benelli USA. It is available in two calibers: a 12-gauge, 3 ½-inch magnum model and a 20-gauge, 3-inch magnum model.

The Nova Pump is a pump-action shotgun. It is primarily marketed for hunting waterfowl in wet conditions. Each model comes standard with a choke, a rotating bolt head, an ergonomic trigger guard and safety, a removable trigger assembly, a grooved grip surface, a push-button shell stop, a mid-bead and red bar front sight. Optional features that can be added by the manufacturer include extended special-purpose chokes, field barrels, rifled slug barrels, a gun sock and a recoil reducer.
