How big does a teacup chorkie get?

The term "teacup" usually means a dog matures at 3 to 4 pounds. A chorkie is a mix between a Yorkshire terrier and a Chihuahua; a regular chorkie is expected to weigh 8 to 10 pounds. Teacup dogs are created by selectively breeding for very small dogs.

Chorkies typically have the silky coat of the Yorkshire terrier with the head shape and prick ears of the Chihuahua. They come in a wide range of colors. Both parent breeds are confident, energetic, stubborn and willful, and chorkies display all of these traits. Teacup dogs require special care due to their extremely small size. They are not recommended for households with children or other dogs.
