What is a bobcat log processor?
By Forinfos - 01/10/2025 - 0 comments
A Bobcat log processor is a log processor that mounts on and is controlled by a Bobcat loader. A log processor is a piece of machinery that splits and cuts logs into a predetermined form, such as firewood. Bobcat is a brand of compact, front-end loader.
Log processors come in stand-alone or mountable forms. Bobcat-mounted log processors are less risky to operate than stand-alone machines, as the operator is inside the Bobcat's cab. Bobcat log processors are also more efficient. They require only one operator, the Bobcat driver, and are able to both pick up full logs for processing and move processed wood for transport or storage.
