What is a Bohr model of Yttrium?

A Bohr model of Yttrium is a representation of an atom of Yttrium. Yttrium was discovered by Johann Gadolin in 1794. It is named after a town in Sweden.

A Bohr model of an atom is depicted much like the solar system is depicted. A nucleus is surrounded by electrons, and they travel in circular orbits known as energy shells. However, energy is only lost when an electron changes position and goes to a different energy shell. An atom of Yttrium contains five energy shells. The total number of electrons in each energy shell are two for the first, eight for the second, 18 for the third, nine for the forth and two for the fifth. The nucleus contains 50 neutrons and 39 protons.
