By Forinfos - 14/05/2026 - 0 comments
Brake rotors are an integral part of the brake system, rotor manufacturing is closely monitored and brake rotors are best replaced along with brake pads. Brake systems in most cars are made up of three main components, including pads, calipers and rotors.
Modern cars are equipped with computerized systems, such as anti-lock brakes. Manufacturers and technicians monitor the production of rotors to ensure no malfunctions exist and that all components worked together. Brake pads function by squeezing the rotors. Rotors should be replaced along with worn pads so that new pads are able to grip smooth rotors, resulting in longer wear.
