What is a bridal luncheon?
By Forinfos - 03/05/2026 - 0 comments
A bridal luncheon is an event hosted by the bride in honor of her bridesmaids or vice versa. It is sometimes hosted on behalf of the bride by her mother, a close family member or close friend.
A bride may host such an event as a thank you to her attendants. She may also invite the groom's mother and grandmother, the flower girl and her mother, any sisters of the groom, and her mother and grandmother. Bridesmaids may host a bridal luncheon to celebrate the bride, although this is not as common.
The event can be formal or informal. For example, it can consist of lunch, a spa day or tea. It is normally held on the wedding day or in the days immediately preceding the wedding.
