What is bug bombs for fleas used for?

Flea bombs, also known as flea foggers, are used by homeowners to rid a house of a flea infestation. They are pesticide products that release their contents all at once to fumigate a home.
Usually, flea bombs do not kill all the fleas, but they do kill the majority. When used, they should be kept away from ignition sources, such as pilot lights. People and pets should not be in the house while the bug bomb goes off and should stay away for the time indicated on the bug bomb label. The house should be aired out upon return by opening the doors and windows.
