How do you burn a CD in iTunes?

To burn a CD in iTunes, choose or create a playlist of the songs you want to burn on the CD. Insert the blank disc, select Burn Playlist to Disc, then choose the settings for creating the CD. Click Burn to complete the process.

1. Select or create a playlist

   Choose from an existing playlist, or create a new one by clicking File on the iTunes menu bar, selecting New, then clicking Playlist. Determine the order of the songs by dragging and dropping them into place.

2. Insert the disc

   Insert a blank CD into your CD-ROM drive. Choose iTunes if a message pops up with choices on how to open the CD.

3. Select the playlist

   Right-click on the playlist you want to burn, then click Burn Playlist to Disc.

4. Choose the settings for burning the CD

   Determine the speed you want to use to burn the CD, then select the gap between each song. Make sure that the circle is filled in next to the Audio CD choice.

5. Burn the CD

   Click Burn to start creating the CD. iTunes displays the length of time it takes to complete the burning process.
