The California branch has an A rating on the Better Business Bureau, while the branch in Houston, Texas, is not accredited; however, there are no recorded complaints against it.

According to its website, KB Home offers many new, quality homes in the Houston area, both cottages and single-family dwellings. Its homes are close to recreational and dining spots. KB Home was founded in 1957 and has since built over half a million homes, with over 7,000 homes built in 2014 alone.
