What do pharmacists wear to work?
By Forinfos - 19/02/2026 - 0 comments
The clothing a pharmacist wears to work generally depends on where he works. A pharmacist in a family-owned drugstore can choose to wear anything he is comfortable in, while chain drugstore pharmacists are usually held to company dress code policies and standards.
It is common to see a pharmacist wearing a white coat or smock, although company dress code dictates whether this is necessary or not. Underneath the white coat, pharmacists generally wear typical dress clothing, such as a button-down shirt and necktie. Some pharmacists, however, wear uniform clothing bearing the company's logo or insignia. When this is the case, the uniform is generally supplied by the company.
