How can you access a list of Medicare providers?

Click the Find Doctors & Other Health Professionals link on the Medicare.gov homepage to locate Medicare providers. Enter a location and search criteria into the relevant fields, and then click Search. Medicare providers are searchable by group practices as well.

Click the Additional Search Options link under the Search button to refine the search by Medicare assignment, gender and hospital affiliation, notes Medicare.gov. Click the Search Another Way heading to search for providers by patient type, including male, female and child. You can refine the search by selecting the affected body part, primary symptom and specialty and enter location information at the bottom.
