Can-Am motorcycles are motorcycles manufactured for off-road racing by the Can-Am division of Bombardier Recreational Products between 1971 and 1987. The bikes feature high power outputs and have been ridden to many championships.
The bronze, silver and gold medalists at the International Six Days Trial, a long-running off-road motorcycle competitions were all riding Can-Am bikes. In 1974, the first, second and third place riders in the motocross national championship competed on Can-Am motorcycles. The bikes continued to feature prominently in race wins throughout the 1970s. Although production of the Can-Am bikes ended in 1987, many continue to be ridden in vintage motocross races.
