Apothic Red is a fruity, moderately dry red wine made from zinfandel, merlot, syrah and cabernet sauvignon grapes. Its flavor profile includes blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, mocha and brown sugar. Additional flavor notes include spice and vanilla. Apothic Red has a smooth, rich mouthfeel.

The namesake of the Apothic Winery is Apotheca, a European location where 13th-century winemakers kept their finest products. In addition to Apothic Red, this winery produces blended white and rose wines.
