You can buy a ceramic mold that looks like your pet. Ceramic molds can be custom-made to fit almost any shape or design, including animals, dishes or faces, using a computer and 3-D printer-based technique.

Ceramic molds typically are made from first sketching the model and then creating blueprints from the sketch. Typically computer-generated, these blueprints are detailed enough to render clear models of the desired shapes. The blueprints are then printed onto plaster blocks with 3-D printers, and they are carved down to the model's shape.

This 3-D printing technique is also applicable for glass, porcelain and metal molds.
